Kristi Meat Products
Co. Ltd began life in the 1980's as a small family owned unit
producing traditional delicatessen products mainly from pork,
in the village of Potamitissa, Pitsilia, an area in Cyprus
renowned for producing traditional preserved meat products
such as real village sausages and hiromeri which a traditional
matured and preseved leg of pork.
The Company was
registered in Cyprus as a private limited company on 8th
November 1982 reg. No. 185504.
As its reputation for
quality products grew the need for larger production became
evident. In view this in 1993 the Company secured land in the
Industrial zone of Ayios Athanasios in Limassol and started
building the ultra modern factory where it currently produces,
packages its products. The building was completed in 1996 and
as a second step the most modern machiner was sourced,
purchase and installed.
On 27th August 2000 the 100% of
the Company's share capital was acquired by
Investylia.
On 1st August 2001 the Company became the
first Cypriot meat processing factory to be HACCP
accredited.
On
14.7.2006 Investylia sold Kristi Meat Products Co. Ltd to KEAN
Soft Drinks ltd |
